Losing His Mother And Hearing “Seek Me First”

Jackie Pelegrin

Absolutely. Absolutely. Yes. It's wonderful. I love it. Yeah. So I I mentioned a little uh you know, a little bit about you in your in the introduction, but can you kind of dig a little bit deeper and tell us a little bit more about yourself and share how your own journey through art, ministry, and speaking led you to discover your divine gift and calling?

From Adversity To Missions And Art

The Book That Sparked His Purpose

Daniel Bernabe

Thank you, Jackie. I remember when I was 16, I loved my mother. And what if my mother I didn't I didn't know what I'm gonna do? And the Lord told me two words seek me first, and the other thing will be given to you as well. And then that word is caught from the book of Matthew, chapter 6, verse 33. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, everything will be added to me. And I was a mission trip with a couple of American missionaries. It's my young age, 20, 20, 20, 21st years old I was. And if I put my hands and I got a missionary called Gary, he is a businessman, and I said, Lord, why would you tell me that word? And then God told me, if I could change your life in that moment, I will, but I'm training you for something greater. And then after facing adversity, my age is 16, and then after a couple of years, God allowed me to do my first trip in a mission. It was my home in Haiti. It was 2000, it's like 1999. It's a long day, like almost, I can say, almost many, many years now. And then I'm so I'm so glad. And then the Lord had trained me. Then my adversity taught me something. I can be able to overcome adversities, I can be able to overcome depression because I was depressed after losing my mother. And I realized that only God can help me overcome all these obstacles in my life. And then one book I read that changed my entire life to help me become an author. Uh 2019. During the pandemic, I was reading a book by Mays Manuel that's been Discover Your Inert Potential. I found that book, it says that touching my heart. It says, Many people go to the grave with their gifts and talents. It's because cemetery is richer than many places we can find in this world. Because many people came with books they'd never written. People got there with songs they never composed. People go to the cemetery with their gifts and talents. Because they never have a chance to express the gift, to develop the gift. After I read that book, I said, Lord, I'm lost. And then I learned to become an artist, my teacher, when I was a little boy. And then I I loved to draw. And the guy told me, Daniel, you love you love art, yes. And then he sent me to go to drawing school. Like I found my first teacher to me how to draw. And then it was 2000. And after I found my other teacher, 2003, that taught me how to paint. So in 2003, I became an art, um, if a final teacher and a final artist. And I still keep on why I still keep on painting. And people can see in the back, they see the the painting of my wife. Uh that painting spent in 2015, but my baby born, 2009. You know, and then I get the picture and I paint her. And then I get a lot because I do most of portrait, you know, portrait I do. I I leave it like that as uh as one of my art. I do not put frame in it, I leave it like that so that I can always show people, you know, what I did. And then uh I published my first book, 2021, didn't speak in the courts. And then the Lord helped me to understand that we all have some potential lives. Unless God, through the Holy Spirit, lead us to say, start, start now, don't expect it to start tomorrow. Because every day you do something related to your gift and talent. Start it. And if you expect the perfect time, when I get this, when I get that, you never improve your gift. You have to start the way you are, where you are. And then that's the reason my journey started as an artist to uh author my Facebook. I'm doing many, many, many, many programs online, Facebook, and I do some some motivational speak with people that met. I contact people with depression. They'll have blessed me to my adversities so that I can be able to bless others.

Jackie Pelegrin

It's all my truth. Wow, that's amazing. It started with that that still small voice of the Lord saying to you that those words, and then you connected it to scripture. So I love that. You knew that was a divine umbling, you know, that he called you to the world. Oh my goodness, I love that symbol. You know, many people today they sense that they're gifted, but they aren't sure what their gift is. That's the that's the thing. They don't know what it exactly it is. So, from your experience as a pastor and encourager of others, what are some practical ways someone can begin to recognize their divine gifts God has placed in them?

Becoming An Artist And Author

How To Recognize Your Divine Gifts

Be Yourself And Follow Passion

Daniel Bernabe

You see a wonderful question, Jackie, and I love it. We live in a world people don't want to be themselves. We get thick things everywhere. I was driving uh a metro today. I was in the metro this this evening while getting back from for from work because I I work so far, I don't I don't like to drive a same metro easier and faster can help you with the traffic, you know what I'm saying? And then I see people, especially people work thick nails, thick hair, fake everything. I say, but what day original hair they have, well there's you know nail they have, where there's you know create creation that the Lord that created them, you know, because I say people want to do fake things, you know, and I say that's the reason in the world people don't want to be themselves. And I say this is the way people lose their identity, you don't have to be themselves, and then if you want to find your gift, try to be yourself. The first step try to be you, don't try to imitate anybody because everybody's different, because as we already know, there we have different uh fingerprints, right? That's gonna change in the same way. You get your own identity, you are yourself. If you can recognize who you are and accept who you are, there the Holy Spirit will guide you whenever you're a Christian or non-Christian, discover your inner potential because God created you the way you are, and God allows you to be born in a country, whether it's the world country or first world country, and then it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter where you where you were born, the color of your skin, because it's not your business. The Lord said, I decided to create Daniel as a black man. He was born in Haiti. You know, it's not my problem right now. I said, Lord, why he created me to be black, what created me to live in an iron Haiti, as the Lord said, because I want you to be yourself, and then don't try to meet anybody. So now we're connected to one after my first city. I say, Lord, let me recognize who I am. And God said, Daniel is a gift to encourage others. You have a gift to help others understand who they are. And the same way you are listening to me, be yourself. This is the first step. The other step are secondary. Be yourself first. Second, discover what you love and passionate about. Because everybody go to a job, not because they love it. I go to I go I go to find a job. I'm working. It's not my my my work. My job is what I do to get my living. I I I get a job to pay my bills, to to to to to do many things that I need to provide for my family. But it's just they call it jobs, right? But my work is like I love to do every day. My work is to paint. My work is to write every time I can. I need to work every day, but I can't write every day because of my full-time job. But I said, Lord, I need more time for my work. And then my work is to encourage people. I got a chance to talk to people at my work. And in my job, a lady, a young lady that suffered with depression. I talked to her and I helped her. She was so happy. We prayed together. I said, Lord, do even though I'm doing a job to find income for my family, also I'm doing my work, which is to encourage others. In the same way, you can do your job, you can do your work while doing your job. You know, because your work people don't pay you for that. You do it for passion. Even if you get paid, that's okay. The pay that's okay. That's your work. But your job, you get paid for it. And when you discover something you love without pushing from outsiders, when people doesn't tell you how to do it and and when to do it, you feel doing that, doing that all the time. That's your passion, and your passion that's there, you can find your gift. You know, you can find your gift. Right, because nobody will push you to do it. You say, Oh, I'm good when I do that. And feel amazing. Like you, Jackie, your gift is to encourage people to do everything online. That's your work. You know, they don't pay you for it. I don't pay you a damn to do what you're doing. You love it. Because America can say time is money, I have to pay you. Because time is money, or you have to pay me because time is money, but to do it, if this is our passion, that's uh that's our gift, right? You allow, we love to encourage people, we love to to to do things that can that can add value to people's lives. This is our gift. If you realize that you love to sing all the time, even if you are in a in a in in uh what call that in the bathroom, you're singing, well, I'm singing, you know, you succeeding. Nobody can stop you. You say, that's I love to sing. Everywhere you are, it gets a sunk from your heart. You have to take it out. Maybe you have a gift of singing. You love to do without people telling you how to do it. You do it with love, that could be your gift. Many people have gifts, they don't know it. Or sometimes they've been distracted by trying to be somebody else, or sometimes they live in a bad environment to tell them you cannot do it. Who you are, you cannot do it. It's impossible. No. So listen to our to outsiders' voice. Listen to inside of you. What you love, what God tells you to do, do it. You have to start to do it now, every day. Do something about it. That's gonna be there. You can discover your gift. Be yourself first. This is the the the the first point.

Jackie Pelegrin

I love that. Wow. You know, being yourself is so important. Like you said, we all have a unique fingerprint, and yeah, and so God made us all unique. If he wanted us all to be the same, he would have just created a human factory and just had us them all be be the same, look the same, sound the same, talk the same, right? Everything's really unique for a reason, and you know it's it's because he wanted us to to have the same qualities or um anything like that he wanted us to have the unique ability and gift. Um, you know. Yeah, I love it. That's great. So once yeah, you're welcome. Some of once someone starts to recognize what their gift, or even multiple gifts, right? Some of us have multiple gifts. So once um someone starts to recognize what that gift or what those gifts are, what do you think is the next step to learning how to use it? Um, so what are kind of two to three um key principles or practices that you found most helpful for developing those God-given gifts and actually putting them into work and uh that everyday life, work, or ministry that they're in?

Job Versus Work: Where Calling Lives

Nurture Your Gift With Focused Inputs

Daniel Bernabe

Thank you, Jackie. The second step people can do is nourish nourish your gift, like a nurture your gift, nurture your gift is feed your mind about that gift. For example, if someone loves to play music, for example, people love to sing, people love to play any kind of instruments, and then if someone wants to to be a speaker, someone wants to be uh encourager, much if I like us of people that encourage others, you have to start listening to all the people that did that before. Try to be a musician, try to listen to some kind of good musician that plays the guitar or you play the piano, listen to them. Or if you have the opportunity, go to a to a to a music class. You can learn the music that you love. Maybe you can go to a guitar class. You love you love it, learn that every day, you know, and then as you nurture that gift that you have, you're gonna be expert in it, you know, because sometimes you have to develop that gift. How develop that gift is to nurture it, feed it every day. Don't go to your to your Facebook watching things that can profit your gift, you know what I'm saying? You have to nurture your gift, something that's helpful. You know, go to the same line with your gift. If you love movies, you know, become an actor. Watch movies to see how people act. You know, with books are about acting, you know, with books about that. I can tell you, after a few months, a few years, you will get so much knowledge about that. And that knowledge overflows. It's like you get that that bottle, as you fill it with water, the water will overflow automatically. And this is the way your gift will overflow because you get that gift, or you have to know what you have to develop it, uh to to clean that gift. It's like when you go to a mine gold. That gold is in a dirt, you have to go as a miner to to get that gold and cleanse it, purify it, that that gold can shine as a beautiful, precious, uh, precious stone that is. You know what I'm saying? It's like your gift is a is uh a statue of a of a mine on unfurnished. But when you can discover it and you you start uh walking on that, your your your gift will be refined and bright to be used to save others. Because my my personal journey started as uh as an author in 2019. I started listening a lot of a lot of audiobooks. I started listening many podcasters, many authors. You know, I I started to nourish myself with another author that's still alive, praise the Lord. Uh John MC Maxwell, you know, I followed him on first on YouTube. I I just nourish myself every day with his self-development, you know, the love, the lead, many good, good things, the leader potential, many good books I read for those people. And then when I'm when I feed my mind, take my inspiration to write my second book. I have a second book online now, that book called The Dispression of Quotes, you know, uh, volume two. I I do I watch that book. Why? Because I've been noish my mind. And I said before, uh knowledge, media is like a marketplace. Now we don't have bookshef anymore that people go to a library because in Google you can find many things that you love to read. You can find many books online. People don't go to a physical library anymore. We get library online. If you know what you want, if you know a gift, not everything that pops up on your screen to click on it. No, I'm I'm going to my computer to search things that's related to my gift, things that I love. And you click, I go to to what the YouTube channel that I love that that can increase my gift. That's what you should do. Go to your channel that can add values to your gift. Even if you give you too many ads, don't care about the ads. Even if you know, wills don't care about them, go that way to search things that can nurture your gift. And this is the second step you can match your gift, and you realize that that's why you have been you were born to do and be, and then you will flourish in it. This is the law. Feed yourself that will add to your gift.

Jackie Pelegrin

Wow. That's wonderful, Daniel. I love that. Those are great steps, and I love uh having those principles in place. Um, yeah, that's that's great. To to look at those those individuals that you can um you can be inspired by, right? And uh be able to hone your craft and your gift. I love them. And that's that's wonderful. So many of my listeners are teachers, trainers, and instructional designers like myself who pour into others all day long. It's a it's a those type of professions are of service, right? So how can they intentionally use their divine gifts to serve their learners without burning out or feeling like they have to be good at everything?

Refining Talent Through Study And Practice

Daniel Bernabe

Jackie is uh it is a question that everybody should ask themselves. No one can be good at any at everything. I mean God can. Right. I'm saying let's go, let's let's give it back to the to the science. The company who created, or can say we made the engine, it's not the same company that cre that that that made the tires. The cacao company made the carcast. And if everything gets together, there is uh uh there is a company that that put all them together to have a car. Right. That one person made a car. There's a group of people the same way. I cannot be good at any anything. Either you, Jackie, you cannot be good at anything. And you can good at one thing, and this is your stress. And what you're being good at, external. Don't try to be good at some something else. You're gonna waste your potential, you're gonna waste your energy. For example, I can I can only what books, I can only talk, I can do. But if I'm not a good accountant, if I can't if I'm not good at math, that's okay. I'm not good at math, because I'm gonna try to be good at math, but I I can't be good at math because I'm I I just know it was not my passion. My passion was letters and and and and and speaking, communication. That's what I love, and that's why I try to share with people wherever I go. People say, you know how to encourage people. That's my gift. I don't go to something else. Right. If you are teachers, don't try to be good at at everything, try to be good at one thing. Because the world's not looking for someone that can do everything like uh uh uh I'm a multi-faceted person. If you can be much more multi multi, you know, fashion people, fascist people, that's okay. But if you can be good at one, because the world now is looking for experts, no experts. You know, does it matter that you can know one thing? If you know it well, people will ask for you. You can go to the mountain tap where you live, everywhere, every country you live, people will need your service, we will be connected with you. Except for for me, because I can tell my testimony by listening. Be good at one thing, that's it, and then you will not be burnt out. The frustration, the frustrations come and try to be good to everything, and then you will try to please people. Oh, people go at this have to be good at this to know stay in your environment that you're good at because God knows your strength. God will never call you now we are doing that good at. He said to me, just swear the mouth necess to me. Encourage people, where are you good at? You never been out. Because when you do something you don't love, you're tired. When you do something with what that you love, you'll not get that easily because that's why you're good at. That's your passion.

Avoid Burnout By Serving In Your Lane

Jackie Pelegrin

Right. Yes, I love that. It's gonna, you know, what you mentioned about the experts, that's that ties into the kind of work I do every day because I I'm an expert at what I do, you know, at curriculum design and development. I know what what makes good curriculum, but then when we hire the subject matter experts, they're experts in that field. It's kind of whether it's counseling or social work. And I don't know counseling, or I mean, I do know quite a bit of inhabited, but I don't have the education, I don't teach those classes, and I'm in the day-to-day work, right? So they they come in and they give their expertise about this the subject area, but then in the curriculum and how to design curriculum. So then when they come in, they're like, oh, I know it takes all of this to put a course together. I'm like, yeah, so we don't just, you know, it doesn't just show up in your in your classroom and your learning management system. It takes, there's a lot of premises behind the scenes. And like you were talking about with a cumber. A cumber isn't made by just one company. It's there's multiple parts, multiple people that are held with them. So it's kind of the same thing with curriculum. Um it it takes a little bit of work behind the scenes to get it to what it is in that finished products. So it's amazing. And um, someone told me a year a couple years ago, I was watching this video, and she said, you know, if you become the subject matter expert at the subject, and then you become a muscle, you know, you're also the instructional designer, then you're not gonna ask good questions. You're not gonna get that that information out of subject matter expert in like this. Yeah, you're not. So it's it's one of those things like you said, you just can't you can't be good at everything. I can't be the editor, and I can't be the the person leading the project, and I can't, you know, it's just too much. You know, that's true. You burn yourself out trying to trying to do it all and trying to um you know, yeah, be be everything and do everything.

Specialization, Collaboration, And Curriculum Design

Guard Your Mind: Inputs Shape Output

Condition Versus Position: Think Higher

Daniel Bernabe

You're right, Jackie. Yeah, Jackie, something I too to to mention. What you feed your mind with is who you will be. Right. You know, and then it's like the body, if you feed the body with with junk food all the time. I don't say you cannot drink eat the junk food sometimes, right? Right. Every day, junk food. Three years drink food, Coca-Cola every day, without natural juice. I don't say Coca-Cola is bad, I say every day Coca-Cola. Right. Natural juice, every day, junk food. After five years, explain to me how your body will respond to that. Doctors can tell you later on, not me because I'm not the doctor who tell you how your body will, yeah. If you walk if you wake up every day, you feed your mind with bad stuff. Everything you see, you watch them. You don't have your specific agenda. Everything you see, you watch them. I can tell you. When going to open your mouth to speak in the public, you will have you will not be able to say nothing serious. That's true. No, that's not true. If you if your background or if you don't refin your gift, you'll not be able to speak. When you speak, yeah, you'll be limitless. But when you spend time to to feed your mind with good stuff, there's a there's a much speaker, his name is Leslie Brown. He says, Oh, yes. Whenever you open your mouth, you tell the world who you are. People cannot know you without listening to you. Right. It's very important. It's not about I can people about nationalities, it's not about background, it's not about you know race or money. Cultivate yourself. If you cultivate yourself, there's your self-development everywhere. You say, I'm going to do this so that I can feed my mind. Everything you feed my mind, your mind automatically will get out. You need to do any effort to say good thing. When you play that person not being waiting, that's person not being listening to good stuff because that will overflow automatically. And then I was I was uh listening to a story, a girl that living in uh in a ghetto, and living in a ghetto, but his mind was in the ghetto as well. That's different. You could live in a ghetto, but your mind is not from the ghetto. You can live in a poor country, but your mind's not in the poor country. Because what you cultivate yourself every day could be different because you can take higher your position. I tell people, don't consider yourself on your position. Consider yourself on your can on your I can say, let me say that one more time. Don't consider yourself on your condition. Set up yourself on your position. You could be a doctor, you don't have money now, but you're a doctor. Behave as a doctor, behave as an engineer, be as an intellectual person, and you will think as an intellectual person, you will think as a doctor, and that will flect your behavior, and the money will follow automatically. You know, and then that's where you feed your money. You could live in a gate or in a poor country, you know, terrible country, but as you think higher than your condition, we focus yourself on your position, and your mind will help you connect the people in the same position with you because your word that will connect to them. Your your your vocabulary will be changed because you think as a doctor, you'll be as a doctor, any witch doctor would connect with you because your doctor doesn't matter. You don't have money yet, even if you don't you you you don't have your own clinic yet, but your con your position is higher than the condition, and that's why whenever your author, even if you don't, you're not a best-seller author to sell many thousand books, hundred million books for your author, because when people listen to you say, is the author, even if he don't sell many thousand books, even if he is not best sellers yet, but he's on the process because his mind reflects who he is, because what you have can go anytime, but who you are, you will go with your grave, and that's why that matter where you live, it's matter who you become, right? And then that lady says something, what it was in uh in a graduation, and then he walked you inviting him because he's living in the same area because people invited him. You know, it's like the daughter, uh, I can say the friend of his daughter was graduated and then invited uh a daughter as mom, he was to to be with his daughter. And that lady, when it was walking, is almost fall down, he said bad words. People just watching her. She was like, she was kissed, she was like ashamed because that's what she listened every time, you know, bad thing, bad thing, bad thing, and then she cultivate that automatically without any effort, that just come. The same way, what you cultivate every day will come in your mouth automatically. You don't need to do any effort, they'll come in automatically the same way when you cultivate good stuff in your mind, when you pin your mouth, people will see who you are because you're position matters most than your uh condition uh condition can change anytime but your position takes time to be changed you know i tell people when your position change uh everything will change step by step easily but when you uh when your condition when your position on uh of not change takes time how many times people take to learn that take years to finish your high school university to become what you expert on that takes years how many times if you're gonna become a millionaire tick tock can make you a millionaire on a day make you a millionaire on a day but if you don't know how to manage that that million you can waste that money and become poor tomorrow right people many many artists get rich in what not all of them some of them get rich but if they cultivate themselves to say I'm wap I'm a warper but I have something with the wharf and then I will not let my condition deviate me from who I am I get discipline I'm a man of morality I will use my money to build myself up you're gonna stay great but when you get money you don't know how to pay the money money can do it you do bad things and the people get money money destroy them because they're not ready for it because they're not become someone the money leads them to do whatever thing the money wants them to do or become someone someone important someone who value you will use that money to keep adding value to myself and also to others to the the the point of become someone first before having some that's amazing it's it's a revelation when you know right that that's that's how you can get that that's great. Yeah exactly I love that and I love that example too because it it really brings it home for my listeners absolutely so I wanted to kind of do a little bit of a bonus question um from my listeners who love Gamma but they feel stuck or discouraged maybe even unsure that they have anything special to offer what do you think Daniel is the one encouraging truth or scripture that you'd want to speak over my listeners today okay if you feel discouraged because you try something it never works or you have been victim of the society you're living in your culture maybe your background your country there's many people that live in the US they they pain of the of the of the society they're living in they're bullying them they feel I'm gonna do anything they're bullying I can tell you one word that can encourage you the Bible says in the book of Philippians chapter 4 verse 30 I can do all things to me straight I can do everything you want to do if God is with you don't look at the quail don't look at society living that that that that that that don't care about the bully don't care about what God says you can do but God's word everything that God puts in your heart you make sure God tells the do it and go for it and God will send you sources don't be discouraged one fall is not the end of it keep on because when you fall you can learn from your falling don't do the same thing that makes you fall again learn learn learn and you will get it will be good at it because if you follow the crowd you'll be lost but if follow God direction to your heart you'll be with that because many people suicide themselves many people deviate from their dreams because they are about to follow the ground but follow Jesus calling in your heart you'll be created because the best thing people can do to your life when you build your self-esteem when you recognize your worth your worth I say something in my job in a trading room I said your mind your life is a is a clean and and clean war gonna give into you if you allow people to touch it all the time with what they say about you you'll dirty your mind you'll dirty your conscience but if you keep it clean you allow only good stuff to enter your mind to enter your heart you will recognize who you are and then what people can say will that affect you. Because everything that can affect you is what you allow to enter inside your mind inside your subconscience I said people you become what you what you listen to many years that build your belief system belief system is what you believe since you are the boy.

Jackie Pelegrin

If the same belief oh you're gonna be anything you're a black man you're gonna be anything or you come from a poor country and everything or you come from America everything belongs to which people know you can still realize your dream in America you can realize what they put in the other America every country you live in can realize your dream but only listen to voice of a creator of your creator that says you can do that only follow my direction because before you die your soul placed in your body fill the divine mission you're not here to drink to eat to sleep to get a job and sit back watch television and die no I can tell you your soul is quiet for something that his master called him to do inside your body that's the third body whatever that that that body could be different colors different beauty is not about the bodies matter it's about what your soul placed in that body I will never die your soul will never die your soul and your spirit place in your body to fulfill a divine mission it could be not only become a pastor and then become missionary there's something you can do you can discover a uh a uh a healing for sickness maybe get a search in somebody that says I want you to discover a cure for cancer get a search in the uh a scientist that say hey I want to use you to be the one that discover a complete healing for cancer that could be your divine uh mission on earth you know that's many sickness that have been in the past that killing many people now that waste one scientific person and two four scientific people say I'm gonna use you to get too too many sickness that the world in the in the in the years in the years in the past for example 1994 19914 right nobody get cure for many for many diseases but now the find cure because God is used one scientific person one one scientist to do that and God looking for you if you go to a medical school to to to become a doctor physician God can use you to find the cure for cancer let him use you and that's why I can say your body calm your your spirit in your soul come your body to become the solution to the problem of humanity that's why Banawan does and that's so sad when you don't when you don't realize that what devil will do devil will use your soul to become the problem to the humanity because that's because you know if you don't use that devil will use you so many people that bring trouble to the world that killed in many bad things because they don't realize I am here to be the solution of problem humanity and those people devil use them what happened the same way devil use them they destroy their own lives they go to jail early they die early they without any significance of their lives but when you discover your gift doesn't matter how long you live on earth and your life can make a difference it's kind of if many young people die young 20 50 or many people die in the 20 40 years but what they've been accomplished in those days God can say welcome you have been fulfilled my given purpose to your body right yeah it's not so much you know the time that you live it's what you do with the time right yes it's like yes yes I love that and I love that you Roman Philippians 413 is one of my life verses and somebody was a little little gribble um and I um and then I came to know Christ um I was um 12 I think or something eleven twelve and some it was amazing because that was one of the first verses I learned I can do one things through Christ because it's great as a limited such a good verse when you're discouraged or when you're not sure or you're um you know you know you're just kind of thinking can I really do this and then but through Christ you can you can you can do it you know through the Lord's divine intervention and and his his guidance you can do it. So I love that.

One Encouraging Truth For The Stuck

Daniel Bernabe

I love just a thing to to do to to to add to that everybody that's watching me I was born in Haiti in a country devaste by bad governments as you know in country. And then uh and then uh what the Lord allowed me to do I say Daniel don't follow cultures follow principles and then I I try to feed my mind with things that can happen in gold and listen to other people from different nationalities different background from my own country as well as I I cultivate people I listen to people that bring value to my country we have a lot of authors that bring values to my country I say let me listen to those people and everybody knows that can deviate my personality that can deviate my character that can deviate my myself it's my work. You know what I'm saying this is the I'm free I say I say I say I'm not the product of a country I'm the product of a divine purpose and I feel and I just God lead me and that's I I just I just listen to things that can help me. Then everything I could say now I don't have any script written I just read for my mind it's the product of things I've been watching I've been listening I've been fit my mind and when I when I can say it to the public without any any script because I've been feeding my mind about for for more than 15 years I've been working with American missionaries as an interpreter when I was 21 years old 21 now I am I am 48. And all my friends become asserted as a as a interpreter I get a pastor that taught me how to deal with people that are not with my same nationality with different culture and told me son get yourself up about principles. Principles never change culture change culture change but principle never change if you can believe in your 11 principles specifically from Bible principles informed principles everywhere you go you'll be welcome you'll be universal because when I anywhere people cannot tell where we're from Haiti from Jamaica from people confuse nationality because I say I don't show culture I show principles how to behave how to respect people how to live a life of character to level of discipline how to respect God respect people love people show value to people that's kind of basic because I live my life people tell me we can do who I am what country I come from I can tell people now my show come from Haiti but because I'm the product of throating myself with people that can have value to my life many good Haitian friends many good Dominican friends many good American friends Canadian friends that can hold value to my life all those values I receive I give them back to others. For example I can tell something Jackie any people that have been the subject of frustration of abuse whenever they meet people they always transmit the same thing.

Principles Over Culture And Lifelong Growth

Jackie Pelegrin

Imagine a kid that's been exact never find values with their parents values with the community they always mistreat that kid they always say they could you're not they could go with the low self-esteem they said recognize value that kind of person becomes dangerous to the society not because of them because they're victims of of a system and they will produce the same system the world you see people that never love people people that always see people they say we when they see people they feel hatred that's the way they've been they've been they've been ways they're ways with hatred in the family home they've been they've been ways with hatred in the hometown and wherever they go they will put in the same hatred the same kind of kind of treatment they received but when you see the home praise the Lord you receive love appreciation value you know whoever you are you we will will give back what being received and that's what can people whoever you are show love show respect show values never dismiss people for who for for for who they think they they they they are what they can no it's not your problem would who they are the problem show them different show them their matters their life matters show them you get values you know when they do sell something good say good job man yo congratulations like I like it because it feels value we come from um Kwama people would make it crime because they'll be frustrated their life you see nobody love them say that if the money I don't show I don't receive love I'm not gonna give love I'm gonna be the hatred that's why people come in frustration their lives and when God allows you to be with people that can advertise your life you say Lord you you you you you always joyful you say I know who I am I know I've been loved but I'm in my job is give love to people and I say Lord thank you Lord I've been blessed to have good people with my life since my mother passed away my 16 years old after leave my depression I see good people God allowed me to be part of his mission mission when in my 20s all this love been received in my 20 years old my mind is open to be connected with many people I can tell you Friday in my podcast I always say the millionaire in my podcast and then he was talking and I said we talk about many great things and then after talking he didn't know about anything about my life my life things even though we're talking about businesses about podcasts about things and become friends you know I'm saying because you know it's not it's not about you that's map it's about gathering to your life about what life got allowed to you into your life the people put to your past that make you valuable and then thank you Jackie you can invite me to be part be part of your podcast I can talk to my love story I can be part of wonderful show we connect together we're connected together it's about values with the same we have about values values is original is everywhere the same values values you know and then I can say morality values that the same thing never change every nation's every culture that the same values never change I can say people don't try to get anything first first I can encourage you become a personal value okay yeah right I love that well that's great yeah and I love it too because Daniel you you know you don't live here in the United States and yet we're connected you know through through this and then some I even had a guest nomination that lives in Turkey too. Yeah some it's amazing I mean um never would have some that this pumicus would reach you know all these people and um and be a worldwide pundicus I just never imagined them in the free years as too you know and so then that's gonna be working through through our humbling and through our talents right and and reaching the some you know I love it.

Becoming A Person Of Value And Love

Daniel Bernabe

So before we close on this episode today um if a listener wants to take one simple step this week to move closer to their divine cumbling and their inherent potential which is what we really talked about today and I love it what would you invite them to do to move closer to to that and then how can you do I don't talk about religion because religion is is man-made get to be a personal creator the sky look at you someone I created you and every name you can give to him many people get different names from different languages but my language that I speak they call him Jehovah God or I I can tell but then get to know Jehovah God first get to know Jesus his son get to know him and then and then talk to him say Lord I know I've been created by you I don't believe in religion I believe you in you you know show me what I was born to be and to do for your glory and we speak to you speak one thing I believe we tell you in the Bible says the goodest commandment of all this love God above everything above above your life above your your everything you can possess the second love just never as yourself if we can apply this principle I don't to be I don't become religious say I'm a pastor evangelist I'm a Christian no start loving God above everything you have you know and then love yourself because the way you tweet yourself the way you tweet others as you love yourself you will love people the way you love yourself because you want people to tell you the truth you want people to care for you right that's what I love you care for me care for people too the Bible says in the book of Matthew chapter 7 verse 12 everything what people do too do also to them and and want to do that with a spirit converse we enter into our heart to surrender your whole heart to the Lord because become a believer takes time is a process you cannot be become a believer after single prayer our advice pray Jesus to come into your life or your life and you become a Christian you become a believer no is a lifetime the way you practice what you know about God through his word because you cannot know God without his word and God will show you and we believe in God believing is experience with you in your creator you can be in your home you talk to your creator to your God you could be at workplace you talk to God and he will reveal you what you want you to do and it's you'll be closer to God and when God tells you go to local church you don't need to go to local church where you can find a lot of music a lot of people make a church I don't say big church is not good but people get them to go to a big church to be entertained why do you go to a big church that's okay to make a church that's okay and Lord will when you go to the church you're not going to look for you know approval of men looking for approval of God because the credit is telling you go to that church what is a big church make a church you're not looking for to be entertained looking for to to be in communion with God and to get fellowship with your world because the Bible says we're together in mind here you know we're looking for communion with God to fellowship with people as many people say I don't become Christian anymore I don't go to church anymore because why are people doing the church I don't want to go to church anymore. Because you didn't follow Jesus that follow the quilt that's until you get connected with your creator first and he will lead you you want back to do because that's what I can tell you go closer to God as you talk to him as you you let him reveal you who you are in him and as you follow his word and obey his word because believing is a reflection of obedience you believe in God you have to obey what he says first and after God will allow the spirit of God to do things step by step. Because you cannot do all things at the same time step by step but one thing you don't understand two things love God and love people.

Jackie Pelegrin
